All Steps Formation has been named as 2025’s ‘Must-Try’ sport by Horse and Rider magazine.

Suzanne became an All Steps Formation Coach in August 2024 and has been loving running clinics for this wonderful discipline.

It involves a group of up to 8 riders, riding in a set order in formation doing several different formation movements.

Not only is it huge fun but All Steps Formation riding has so many great benefits as follows:

- [ ] Can help you to work on your horses straightness and responsiveness to your aids
- [ ] Gives you a chance to school your horse but without your horse being bored, the horses absolutely love being in formation
- [ ] A really lovely social way to spend an hour riding with other like minded riders
- [ ] Can be suited to absolutely any level of horse and rider by making the movements lesser or greater in difficulty
- [ ] Chance to ride on a team and compete in online competitions doing All Steps riding tests
- [ ] Good way to help desensitise horses to other horses being close to them and passing them in close proximity in a safe controlled environment which can help alleviate warm up tension/anxiety at shows

When the ride all come together in perfect formation, Suzanne gets shivers and her hairs stand on end and you can see from the beaming smiles on the riders faces that it really is amazing when the ride all move together in perfect formation. It’s a fab discipline that Suzanne is very passionate about getting as many as people as possible involved in. The people running ASF are the most inclusive, wonderful group of ladies and this really shows through into the discipline they’ve created.
